Hopefully this will be the start of a new army for me, I'm fed up of Space Marines now. They were painted very quickly, the scheme was very simple and should allow me to paint an army within a couple of months if I ever get the chance!

Just finished them....

'I will not give in'
This Guardsman was part of a Command Squad I bought which was meant to be part of an Ultramarines PDF. I didn't carry on with the project because I started a new college, but I kept this mini because I was quite proud of him...
I'm now tempted to start this project again....I forgot how much I liked the paint scheme! I think i'm also getting fed up of space marines, I've painted them for too long now.

Delving into the past...
Just thought I'd add another post showing some of my older miniatures.
I'd like to get into some commission work so I'll use this blog as a sort of basic portfolio. Anywho, to the photos.
First off are some Ultramarines I painted last year. They're completely different to the brighter Terminators shown in my first post, this was due to me wanting to try a new technique...
The results were better than I thought, however it was a fairly drawn out process which I would only use on a single special character.
I tried the same technique with red on a quick test-mini...
It didn't work as well as the blue but with a few tweaks it could have been alright.
Next up are some Tau. I've delved into the Tau a number of times over the years but have only recently found a paint scheme I actually liked..
As you can see they're still not finished despite being a year old now. This is just because they were only meant to be test models incase I deided to continue with the Tau, however the Space Marines took hold again!

'The Legion'
I've been painting my own army lately and have simply named them 'The Legion'. I've been slowly proceeding through them and currently have 1 Dreadnought, 1 Land Speeder, Tactical Squad, Chaplain, Apothecary and 1 lonesome Terminator...
